Reflections
Wednesday, May 14, 2014I'm not sure who's reading this, or if anyone is at all, but I'm really happy to be starting this blog. I've wanted to start for a long time. I have a lot of visions for this blog, mainly because I have a lot of interests that I want to include here. I love beauty, fashion, home decor, wedding planning (currently in the process... 6 more months to go! Eek!), career advice, and overall lifestyle.
I have always loved writing. It was one of my best subjects in school and simply something that has always come very easy to me. I look at blogging and writing as an outlet for me. Whether it's to air a frustration I'm feeling or just to connect to others with similar interests; it's always felt really good. I feel like I'm going to really enjoy this.
First off, a little bit about me. My name is Carson. I'm 21 years old and live in a real small town in Massachusetts. I have a big girl job, big girl bills, and a big girl car, all things I worked very hard for. I'm proud of that. Most importantly, I'm engaged! I'm getting married in November to my favorite person on Earth and I am so beyond excited.
I play tennis, love my dog Luna more than many things, and care way too much about the little things. I have anxiety, feel stress, and wonder how I get through most days. All that being said, I love my life and who I have in it. I enjoy thinking about how far things have come and where I'll be in 5 years. Overall, I am a happy person and very grateful; I pay attention to how fortunate I am and do not let that go unnoticed. In my opinion, you can have everything in life that you could ever want, but if you don't notice the meaning of those items or be consistently thankful, you won't get much out of life.
I am going to commit to posting 3 times per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I want to include beauty reviews, fashion posts, home decor ideas, Q&As, and lifestyle posts in general. I am SO excited.
